Default Team builds for small Guilds

Looking through all the forums and PVX i have been unable to find a decent group build for running elite areas without specialized Speed Clear build, or DWG, Terraway, etc.

I was wondering if there are builds for the smaller guilds that do not have mass qty's of people that have all the specialized builds. Putting a PUG group together is a pain most of the time and if i am going to share my drops with otheres I would prefer it is people in the Guild..

in NM with cons you can do pretty much anything with whatever you have, obviously there aren't builds for every single profession for each area but as long as you have enough defense and enough offense pretty much anything will work.
best thing is probably to just take some kind of tank and get them to pull stuff back to the group and kill it with aoe damage.

Default SC team for small guilds

we have beatten the underworld several times thats not the question. The question is: are there builds for SC for smaller groups withouth using PUGS. All i have found that works are 8 and 12 man team builds for SC. For example is there a build that can be done with a 4 man team vice an 8 man team. granted it will take longer but requires fewer people to accomplish?

the 8 man team is great but I have experienced lots of failures due to PUGS and there are lots of smaller Guilds that do not have enough members to run an 8 man team with out PUGS.

Yes and No. Build directories generally work off 8 and 12 man teams and any guild capable of doing areas with fractions of the player limit are using specialised builds(Don't see them publicised often) and are highly experienced at it. Exactly what you don't want.

When my guild started doing domain of anguish back in December we were a pretty small guild. We had a lot of inactive members and very few good active ones. after doing DoA w/ pugs for awhile we met some cool people on the runs and they joined up with us, and they invited more people and it just kind of went from there. You may just have to live with pugs until you can get the specialized builds and the players to run em. Or you can work on getting the builds yourselves and just get a pug or 2 to come along for the last slot if your guild is that small. Pugs arent that bad if you can get them on a VoIP. Talking is faster and more personal than typing.

Not that I dont want it. I have several of the specialized builds for SC. I am still learning some of them but I have put in the time for getting the specialized builds and will put in the time to learn them correctly.

It was more of a general question if anyone had done it with smaller groups than the 8 man set up. Is it possible? For instance with the Terraway build can a 4 man team the Emo/ RIt/ Lab tank/ AND T1 run all the areas? is there a mod to one of the builds that makes it possible?

You can do UW with an emo, lab, and 2 terras in less than an hour :P that takes a lot more experience. If you run something like a Emo, rit, and ele lab tank sort of build you could do all of lab, vale, and wastes with just them. With those 3, bring an assassin terra with a setup like.. Shadow form, shroud, glyph of concentration, ebon ward of honor, sliver, IAU, deaths charge, and either finish him/heart of shadow/armor of earth (depending on experience of the terra and their preferences). This terra could go pop all the upper areas (pits, mtns, plains, and pools) Then tele for the quests.

there are ways of doing speedclears with smaller parties, but they require a lot of prior experience in the area, it's probably better to either find a good alliance or simply pug people and put good people on your friends list, before long you should have a fair amount of people to draw off.

I have to agree with Paranon here. Either you could go in with 4/5 and fill with heroes, and do a NM clear, not SC. But if you want to go 4/5man UW/DoA, you need a lot of prior experience/knowledge/coordination etc, which I doubt you have available in your guild.
